TAKE THE FIRST STEP AND TRAIN OVER THE ROAD

Upon graduation from the three-week school, applicants enter Step One of the career path as a newly hired trainee. Trainees spend a minimum of 35 days and 19,000 miles with a certified OTR trainer where they learn life on the road, company policies and procedures and fine tune driving skills. During this step, wages are $450 per week.

To complete Step One, the trainee must have achieved competency in the skills taught by the OTR Trainer within the company’s required amount of training time. When the trainee's time with the OTR Trainer is complete, he will be tested and further educated in a one-day upgrade course to ensure that he is ready to be promoted to solo company driver status.
