STEP UP AND BECOME A SOLO OR TEAM COMPANY DRIVER

Step Two begins when the trainee passes the required testing and upgrades to solo company driver status. Company drivers average between $35,000 to $40,000 in their first year of employment with Central Refrigerated. A company driver is paid per mile and the pay rate is based on driver’s tenure. Step Two also serves as continuing education for new drivers as it takes a minimum of 3-6 months with Central Refrigerated to be fully prepared to begin a successful driving career. During this time the drivers establish relationships with their driver managers and other office personnel, which will increase their success down the career path.
